Our company name, OneWorld, reflects our belief that we only have one planet earth and that we all live in the same world. We must protect the natural environment and contribute to the society we all live in. We run our business in as an environmentally friendly way as possible, and support a number of social and environmental organisations.

We work with MyClimate (The Climate Protection Partnership) to offset our unavoidable CO2-emissions, and make OneWorld Consulting a climate neutral company. This is achieved by financing valuable projects to promote the use of sustainable renewable energies and increase energy efficiency.

We chose to work with MyClimate because their projects satisfy strict project standards. As well as reducing greenhouse gases, their projects must also make a demonstrably positive contribution to sustainable development and benefit local communities. MyClimate is one of the few offset providers to offer Gold Standard credits which are independently validated, adhere to best practice methodology and only support renewable energy or energy efficiency technologies (no tree planting or gas flaring). Most importantly the environmental achievements are additional which means they would not have happened as business as usual. MyClimate supports projects worldwide, including a wind farm project in Turkey.

We also support a number of social mentoring programmes by providing free consultancy, training and support to scheme managers and participants.

We are an owner-operated business and all our team members have a strong sense of ownership. Our team has extensive experience in international business roles as well as recruitment and HR Consulting. We have a Turkish and foreign team with a combined experience of over 100 years. We also work with a number of highly qualified associates on certain projects.

Tim Bright


After graduating from Glasgow University Tim delivered business communication skills training in the UK, and also worked for 8 months in Germany.

Tim moved to Turkey in 1991, recruited as Training Coordinator for a major bank. He then worked as a freelance consultant, designing and managing training programmes, advising on HR issues including executive development, and managing a team of trainers.

Tim worked with Nicholson International from 1995-2007. He was Country Manager of the Turkish office, and built the market leading team of recruitment consultants and researchers. In 1997 he was appointed as Area Manager for Turkey and Israel. Nicholson International was the first international Human Resources consultancy in Israel and grew significantly in the country.

In 1998 Tim was appointed as a Regional Director of the firm, and relocated to Hong Kong. He worked extensively across Asia and led a major successful expansion in the People's Republic of China developing four offices and negotiating a landmark joint venture with the Chinese government. The team was selected by Euromoney as the 'Best Recruitment Firm in China'.

In 2000, Tim was appointed to the Management Board of the firm, and was made responsible for the Group's operations in the USA, managing offices in New York, Princeton, and Silicon Valley.

In 2007 Tim co-founded OneWorld Consutling which provides retained executive search, coaching, mentoring, outplacement and other tailored HR consulting services in Turkey and other markets. He chairs the British Business Group in Istanbul, and is on the Senior Advisory Board of the British Chamber of Commerce.

Tim began working as an executive coach in 1997, specialising in coaching senior executives and leadership teams, with the aim of raising their levels of awareness, and providing challenge and support as they reflect, achieving real behavioural change and improving results. His experience as a corporate trainer, executive search and HR consultant, and a business manager makes him well positioned to be a highly effective coach.

Tim has coached and managed executive search assignments in 20 countries. His clients include Adidas, Anadolu Group, Aviva, Avon, Bayer, Borusan, Bosch, Brisa, Coca-Cola, Dogan Group, Anadolu Efes, Enerjisa, Google, Henkel, HSBC, Koc Group, Microsoft, Pearson, Philips, Sabanci Group, Siemens, Tesco, Unilever, Vodafone and Yildiz Holding. He currently works actively in four countries.

Tim was trained by Dr Suzanne Skiffington of the Behavioural Coaching Institute. He has qualified as a Master Coach with the Professional Development Foundation in the UK (an EMCC accredited programme at Master level) and completed a Masters Degree in Executive Coaching/Professional Development with Middlesex University.

Tim is co-founder of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) in Turkey and served on the International Executive Board.

Tim continues to work as an executive search consultant, leadership consultant and coach, and works in English and Turkish. He also designs and supervises corporate mentoring programmes. He has facilitated effective leadership offsite meetings in a number of countries for a range of clients. Tim also runs intercultural workshops and briefings and is a member of SIETAR – the Society for Intercultural Education Training and Research.

Joan O'Rourke


Joan is a co-founding partner of OneWorld Consulting. Joan has business experience gained in sales, business development, management and consulting roles. This includes over 20 years of working in the UK, US & Canada, Greater China region and Turkey and over 15 years of experience as a Consultant.

Previous employers include the UK's London International Group, The Corporate Services Group and Quintiles Transnational Corporation for whom Joan worked for as a Business Development Director in China then in the US before moving to Istanbul, Turkey in 2004. Joan has since been working as a Consultant and Executive Coach.

Joan has extensive executive recruitment experience and has overseen retained searches in Turkey and regionally for senior and mid-level executives including Chairman, Non-Executive Director Board Member, General Manager and C-Level roles for country and regional level positions. Her clients include international and Turkish organisations and not for profit organisations across various industry sectors.

Joan is also an experienced Executive Coach and Career Coach and has a particular interest in career transition issues.

Joan has a Bachelor's of Arts degree from The University of Nottingham, UK, and a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management & Development from Manchester University, UK. Joan is also an accredited Coach and has completed an EMCC accredited coaching diploma programme with the Oxford School of Coaching and Mentoring in the UK.

Okan Utkueri


Okan is an executive coach and leadership mentor, and a senior executive in the insurance field with more than 25 years' corporate experience. During his professional career, he spent 14 years in executive and CEO level roles. Alongside his coaching work with top executives, Okan is currently MD and country head for Guy Carpenter (part of the Marsh & McLennan Group of Companies). Previously, he was CEO of Eureko (Garanti) Sigorta, part of Achmea, a Dutch insurance company.

In his role as an executive, he led senior teams and high potential individuals in various change projects, transformation programs and organizational development initiatives.

Okan has worked as a Board member in quasi-government institutions (Association of Insurance Companies, the Turkish Catastrophe Insurance Pool and the Turkish Agriculture Pool) where he gained experience of working with regulatory authorities and various governmental bodies in Turkey.

Okan reflects his own execution and leadership experience in his coaching. The experience, wisdom and know-how gained during his executive roles are harmonized with his positive energy, calmness and confidence. This defines the flavor of his coaching style and enables him to create the right atmosphere for his coachees to inspire, attain self-confidence to improve and to execute change.

Okan's main area of expertise is leadership, strategy, change projects, career development, innovation climate, corporate culture and organizational wellbeing. Okan is passionate about the human perspective in the work environment. As well as the "financial performance" dimension of business life, he truly values the "wellbeing and health" element in organizations. He focuses primarily on areas such as corporate identity, leadership culture, values, motivation, engagement and execution power.

While working as a CEO, Okan attended various coaching & mentoring programs and initiated several internal projects in this field. He used coaching skills actively both in formal and informal coaching projects within the organization. He has taken many training programs in coaching. He completed a number of Adler advanced coaching programmes and is certified as an ATC (Adler Trained Coach). He is also ACC (Associate Certified Coach) accredited by ICF (International Coach Federation).

Okan is actively involved in the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) Turkey and is a member of EMCC Turkey's Executive Committee.

Okan also writes a column in a monthly insurance magazine about new generation insurance, disruptive technologies, digitalization and the transformation of organizations and leaders. He also writes a blog about his life journey, organic leadership and organizational fitness.

Okan works with OneWorld Consulting on a range of projects, mostly focused on coaching and mentoring senior executives.

Hale Beyhan


Hale has 14 years of experience in human resources management and consulting. This includes 6 years of experience in the banking sector as a Human Resources Specialist and more than 8 years as an Executive Search Consultant.

Hale has extensive experience in the design and management of recruitment processes and talent mapping. Since joining OneWorld Consulting in 2007, Hale has worked as a Senior Consultant on various executive search projects across a wide range of industry sectors, including pharmaceuticals, healthcare, financial services, FMCG, industrial, manufacturing and telecommunications. Hale has also completed searches where she has identified and recruited talent in Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.

As well as leading projects to recruit mid to senior level managers, Hale has a particular interest in career transition consulting and has worked with senior and mid-level managers on outplacement and career management programs.

Hale has a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Istanbul University and is fluent in Turkish and English.

Elif Hande Ozes


Hande has 8 years of experience in marketing, brand management and product management. This includes experience in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical sectors.

Since joining OneWorld Consulting Hande has worked as a Consultant on various executive search projects for clients across a wide range of sectors including publishing, aviation, services, pharmaceutical, healthcare and Information & Technology. Hande has completed recruitment projects for senior and mid-level professionals across a range of role functions.

Hande has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies from Isik University, Istanbul, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Istanbul Technical University. Hande is fluent in Turkish and English.

Melih Mermer


Melih has more than 10 years of business experience gained in business development, marketing, risk management and project management roles in Turkey with Deloitte & Touche Tohmatsu.

Since joining OneWorld Consulting Melih has worked as a Consultant on various searches for senior and mid-level managers for leading Turkish and international organisations. This includes Turkish Holding Companies and clients in retail, energy, FMCG, services, manufacturing, automotive and tourism sectors and has included talent searches across the region and Europe.

Melih has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Istanbul Bilgi University and is fluent in Turkish and English.

Gozde Ekin Erkan


Gozde Ekin has over 4 years of work experience. She started her career as a Psychological Counsellor working with young children in a kindergarten and later moved to the banking sector where she worked with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as a Banking Assistant.

Since joining OneWorld Consulting in 2015 as a Researcher, Ekin has worked on various searches for senior and mid-level executives for leading Turkish and international companies. This includes clients in different industry sectors including chemicals, retail, cosmetics, FMCG, manufacturing, services, pharmaceutical and healthcare.

In addition to her Researcher role, Ekin is also responsible for the OneWorld Consulting candidate and client satisfaction survey feedback process.

Ekin has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Istanbul Bilgi University and is fluent in Turkish and English.

Melek Ozen Cetin

Office Manager

Melek joined the OneWorld Consulting team as Office Manager in 2016. She has over 6 years of work experience gained in international organisations in various sectors including Tourism, Banking, Energy and Consulting.

Along with her solid office administration experience, Melek brings with her strong problem solving and communication skills. Melek is also the Executive Assistant to the Managing Partners and oversees all office administrative tasks to ensure we deliver our services to a consistently high standard to all our clients.

Melek has an Associate degree in Tourism and Hotel Management from Sakarya University and is fluent in Turkish and English.
